KSME

**I have been absent in the blog world recently. Not because I hate it, but because I am focusing on work, health, and most importantly, relationships with family and friends. I promise to do better, hopefully.**

Our 2nd wedding anniversary is fast approaching! The traditional gift for this occasion is cotton, who came up with these? Either way I am a lover of traditions, so I shall follow this one too. Tradition is what brings me to the topic of the blog post, changing my name, although I didn't follow this tradition blindly or without thought. It wasn't quite as easy as a 2nd Anniversary gift...

I have to tell you, I never really thought about not changing my name when I got married. Almost everyone I knew changed their name when I was younger and I thought that was just what you did, I probably assumed it was law or something. Just something that girls did. Growing up, I had a few friends that had different last names than a parent. Mostly the result of a divorce, a few were because the couple never married, and a few I really didn't know the reason and probably never thought much about it.

My parents were married in April of 1977. I will pause for a moment of great awe and wonderment of their more than 36 years of marriage. *gasp*

Now that you've picked your jaw up off the floor...I've never known my mother as anything other than her married name, obviously, since I didn't arrive more than 36 years ago. I always knew that her last name was my grandparents surname prior to marriage. I've seen the invitations sent out for their wedding and not only are they preciously perfect, but they clearly state her name...the name that she had for nearly 22 years. Her monogram didn't change and she gained a last name with 3 fewer letters, maybe she was excited about the shorter signature? Or the future of explaining that it isn't spelled like the planet, you need an additional 'R'. The most likely reason is that her mother changed her name and her sister had changed her name before that and so on, Tradition.

Historically speaking, marriage ensured a woman's survival, brawn was needed more to survive than brains. Men worked, women had children, lets cut a super long story short here and say that if a woman was married their name was changed to keep the family wealth safe and secure. Women that did not marry were usually forced to be a servant or a prostitute, but times have changed and you don't have to be a big strong man to earn money for the family. Many women are the primary bread winners or equal contributors. Being single past a certain age doesn't mean you have to adopt a multitude of cats and live in shame, and I am thankful for that progress.

I know a number of ladies that have opted to not change their name or hyphenate, good for them, to each their own. I have no problem with whatever a lady, or gentleman for that matter, chooses to do upon marriage, civil union, etc. This only affects me when trying to properly address an envelope. I simply reference my dear friend Emily Post for the best way to address these lovely folks in my life and while they sometimes require more pen ink or an additional line to fit everything in, I'm happy to do my best to accommodate their choices and be respectful in the process.
That brings me to my choice...My soon-to-be husband and I went to the Tulsa County Court House to get our marriage licence just a couple of days before our big day.

don't we look thrilled?!

We were accompanied by one of his groomsmen as we entered the out dated and slightly sterile looking building. There are no warm and fuzzies to be found in this specific court house, it's an odd place to start a marriage in my opinion, but a necessary evil. As we presented the documents and started the paperwork I felt my stomach drop. Was I really about to change the name I had carried for 30 years, 11 weeks, and 6 days? The name that my parents probably spent countless hours picking and choosing for their first child and only daughter?
I had weighed the different options in my head...

--Simply change my last name, keep the first and middle the same.
--Change my last name, make my maiden name my middle name.
--Hyphenate
--Change nothing at all

A few weeks before I had settled on dropping my given middle name and replacing it with my maiden name. I felt it was a good way to keep a part of my family's heritage with me and this way my name wouldn't be super long. It seemed simple, clean, and easy. I was set and prepared to make the change. Then I told my parents of my plan and realized that my mother and I share a middle name. A simple three letter name and I felt that this was my link to her, my last name was clearly the link to my father and I that I didn't want to lose either.

That's when I remembered one of my favorite episodes of Friends, when Phoebe and Paul Rudd (I can't remember his characters name) change their names, and realized that I could do whatever I wanted to do... I truly had the power. It was done, my choice had been made and I now am proud to say that I have 4 names, my monogram is messy, but my initials are quite amazing. KSME.

Each of my 'name's' has a special meaning to me and I honestly don't care what anyone thinks about it. My name is a beautiful equation of Myself (K)+ Mom (S)+ Dad (M) + (E) Husband, and when you look at it that way it's clear why I made this choice. On a daily basis I use my first name and my last name, myself + husband, but in the middle are the two people that made me everything that I was before I started my married life. They symbolize the hidden factors that make me...well, me. You don't see them on a daily basis, but they are there and are strong as ever.

So, there you have it.

Talk to you soon Blog world!

#STTS

Over the past couple of days the mister and I have realized that we often have a song stuck in our heads, on repeat and we have been singing it to each other.

It's not a catchy top 40 hit...

Not an oldie, but a goodie...

Not a guilty pleasure that you're ashamed to admit you like...

Nope - it's this gem that is currently playing around the clock on the TV's in the NJ area...

Don't worry ... here is another version!

And more...

Okay ... Last one!

I'm sure we will be going #DTS at some point later this summer!

Confessional Friday: Rainy Day Edition

Photo via A Blonde Ambition

1. I confess that I’m 100% over the rain. I’m done with the frizzy hair, wet socks, and constantly needing an umbrella in my purse. Rain, Rain, GO AWAY!

2. I confess that, due to the above mentioned rain, I am wearing my best impression of my 1990’s grunge self, flannel shirt included. Why didn’t I keep my old Doc Martens?

3. I confess that I am dying to replace my iPhone, but I am hesitant because my amazing 8-ish year old MacBook is dying a slow death and I need to transfer all my info to our married computer. How do I even begin?!

4. I confess that I recently rejoined the Twitter and Instagram worlds, I’m quite excited about it. You should follow me!

5. I confess that I have a slight obsession with the Dole Southwest Salad Kit. Adding Cheese, Tortilla Chips, Sour Cream, and Taco Ranch Dressing to lettuce is still a healthy lunch option, right?

6. I confess that I’m quite proud of my performance on the treadmill yesterday. I have been doing a sprint workout once or twice a week, when the rain forces me to use the gym, and I love it. I can see a big difference in my long distance runs.

7. I confess that I’m downright giddy for the weekend. This week has been too long and too stressful. Bring on the relax time!

Have a great one!

Healing in the Heartland

I just watched Healing in the Heartland and have a few comments, take 'em or leave 'em.

This concert special was 1 hour long. The Hurricane Sandy special was about 12 hours, not seriously, but it went on for so long! Great performers at both, for sure. I wish this one was just a bit longer and that 12 12 12 was just a bit shorter.

The only thing missing from the concert in Oklahoma City tonight was Jon Bon Jovi and his turtleneck...

thanks for the memories Google.

Oh...the turtleneck.

And my night was made by this guy. I could listen to him sing for days.

This was obviously from a few years ago, the version from tonight wasn't on youtube yet. I love this song.

The Differences

"Mama don't you worry,
they won't change me.
A hundred thousand miles mean nothing to me."
-Eli Young Band

New Jersey is very different from Oklahoma...I know...shocking, right? Most of the differences are small.

If you're invited to a Barbecue in New Jersey you are not guaranteed Barbecue Sauce. Hopefully, a nice rub on some brisket or pork, but usually you're just going to get a burger and some hot dogs.

When I go running I lace up my Tennis Shoes, but my husband insists that they are Sneakers.

For holidays a big events you can bet that you'll see some type of Italian cuisine here in Jersey. Baked Ziti or Chicken Francaise, will make an appearance. In Oklahoma, it's probably going to be something fried, a cobbler, or a casserole.

Okies say Mozzarella, each syllable is given it's time in the limelight, in Jersey it's just Mozz. With a moo sound in there...it's really hard to type, call me if you're confused. Either way it's maybe 25% of the actual word.

Yield signs are closer to stop signs in Oklahoma, in Jersey it means jam your way into traffic at all costs. The commute is brutal.

Asking 'Hey, how ya doin?' will get you an actual answer out West, but asking the same question here in the East gets the question back as the answer.

I won't comment on the soda, pop, coke debate. I call it Soda, you're not changing that either.

There are many differences in culture and I'm learning about them every day. I may comment more on them later, I think I better start a notebook to make sure I don't miss any!

Bye Y'all! or Yous Guys.

A Long Weekend

I missed posting yesterday, so far I have missed two this month...#fail

This is going to be a short one. We have been busy getting caught up on everything around here...so many loads of laundry!!!

Fun thought of the day - Sophie Jean has been, how can I say this nicely? Hmmm... Farting a lot recently. Every time she does she looks around confused. Do you think that she seriously has no idea it's her? Either way, hilarious.

I am so excited to have tomorrow off!

Happy Memorial Day!

Weighing In

Since running the half marathon I have been very proud of myself for consistently running and working out. When I finished the half in Wichita last October I was kinda lazy, okay...super lazy.

I have missed a couple of planned runs, it's been raining quite a bit and my left heel has been giving me fits. All in all I feel good and I have been increasing my speed on the short runs and have done a couple of long runs. I want to increase the long runs over the next couple of weeks.

I have also been trying to increase the cross training...I much prefer running. But I need to tone up the arms and thighs before I even consider breaking out the bathing suit.

We have been doing well with our food recently. Keeping things low carb and healthy...I have consumed a sleeve of thin mints in the past two weeks. Sweet Lord it is hard to only eat one, I did eat two last Thursday.

Here is an update according to the judge (aka the scale)

Starting Weight 2013 - 169.0
May 22, 2013 - 151.2

17.8 pounds lost

I see that number and there is a part of me that is slightly disappointed, I feel like it should be more. I have to remember that when I started I was averaging a 11:30 mile and tonight I ran 8:58.  I have lost a total of about 35 inches all over and I feel so much better than I did 5ish months ago.

I would like to see a few more inches go away and few pounds too, if possible. I have a feeling that I could easily get to an 8 minute mile pace if I was carrying 20 pounds less, or more!

Sunday / Productive Day

Well, Saturday wasn't as productive as I had hoped.

My normal schedule for the part time job is...
Monday - lunch hour in store and one hour at home
Tuesday - lunch hour in store and one hour at home
Thursday - lunch hour in store and three hours at home
Friday - four hours at home

Well, this schedule is normally set in stone and very reliable, but one of my stores decided to have an insane and super long circular this week and after 4 hours on Friday night I still had to do about 5 hours of work on Saturday too. Combine that with the dreary weather and you have a not so great Saturday.

We opted to hit the movie theatre to see The Great Gatsby in the evening in hopes of turning the day into a great day. I have to say that visually the film is beyond well done. I'm not 100% on board with the Jay Z music...I mean some of it really fit, but I didn't need to hear Crazy in Love...I don't think it fit. But I don't make movies...so whatevs

Sunday was my favorite weekend day this time around! We went to church today and forgot to wear our Pentecost red...but we still had a grand time.  When we got home we embarked on the most epic kitchen cleaning in the history of mankind, or just my life. I am in love with our new set up and can't wait to actually cook in it! Maybe I will just watch the husband cook, he is getting better!!!

Here is hoping that this week is a great one despite the nasty weather.

Case of the Mondays

I probably had the worst case of the Mondays...ever.

For reals...I was late to work this morning, for a good reason, but still late. I didn't make anything for lunch today so I was stuck with a fast food salad, eh...it wasn't too bad. The day was just long in general and topped of with a meeting at 4:15pm!

I had grand plans to go to the gym and sweat it out on the treadmill, this would surely make the day much better, right?!

Normally, this would be and easy to accomplish task, but when you only pack one sock in your gym bag you really have no choice but to go home and run in the very cool spring air. brrr.

I'm beat and I think I'm going to go to bed early to prepare for Tuesday. I hope I don't get a Case of the Tuesdays, not sure what that would feel like exactly.

Saturdays Aren't Long Enough

Anyone disagree? Didn't think so...

This morning I dropped off Husband at the PATH station and sent him to Queens. Sadly, he didn't cheer loud enough. The Mets lost again. #shocked

The Mets are my adopted team and I thought that rooting for them would be easier that rooting for the Royals, it's normally not. Maybe the Royals will do some good this year, it's still early enough for a lot to change.

I made my way to Grace Episcopal Church, our church, to help prepare for the Mother's Day Breakfast. A group of us were able to knock out almost all the work in just a few hours! Teamwork!

I had grand plans to run 9 miles today, but Mother Nature just didn't agree...we got more rain! So, I did some cross training in the house...I am currently using the insanity program, but since I don't do it daily I feel that I am going to nearly die each time I try one of the routines. Lordy! I'm sure it will get easier soon, if not I'm sure it's effective!!

After I picked up my favorite Met fan at Journal Square we headed to the grocery store downtown to pick up a couple of things. I remembered why I don't go to the grocery store on Saturdays...and we took a detour on the way home to snap a photo of the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere!

One World Trade!

Now...a relaxing Saturday evening...yay!! Can I have two this week, please?

I Need a Boat

I do love a good boat ride, but I'd prefer to not need one to commute to work. This rain is cray y'all!

It started raining early on Wednesday morning and has been coming frequently since then. During my drive to work I prefer to use a service road to get to the parking garage and that road is officially closed. It makes that drive a bit longer and me less happy.

It also makes me go near the Dunkin Donuts and I swear I can smell the bagels and muffins. I swear they are calling my name! But I have managed to drive by two days in a row without stopping. WINNING!

This just might be the most exciting news in my life. No lie. It's been a bit norm around these parts.

OH! Miss Sophie Jean visited the doggie spa today for a bath and hair cut!

My adorable baby in her car seat, that she hates so much.

You're welcome! I start hysterically laughing around 3:30...

Short Girls Can Run!

I have been trying like hell to keep running, but in the days following a big race it can be difficult to find the motivation. Today was the most difficult so far. The humidity and temperature were both high...I felt like I weight about 350 pounds. A long three miles!

My plans are to run 5 days a week and do a cross training workout 1 day each week. I am giving myself the option to drop one short run each week if I'm just too busy or tired, hopefully I won't do that too often. Or I can switch out one run with a cross training workout if need be.

I'm super happy to be consistently running under 10 minute miles! I'm thinking about doing a couple of 5K races in the area to see if I can do them in less than 30 minutes. I'd really love to be able get a finish closer to the 27 or 28 minute mark.

I have to say that I am loving my running shoes right now. When I first got them I struggled with them for a few weeks, much longer than I had with others in the past. I think I finally got them broken in properly and they are feeling good!

Brooks Trance

I'm considering buying another pair right now to have for when the current pair needs to be retired. Hmm...Brilliant!

Ready to run 6 on the treadmill tomorrow, we have a forecast of rain.

Just a Cold Little Prostitute

Reporting from NJ where the current temperature is a lovely 18°F.

I know that I lucked out last year with an extremely mild winter, but that doesn't mean that I have to be happy about freezing my tail off this year. It's cold y'all!

Every night, between 10:00pm and 11:00pm, we walk our precious little Sophie Jean. It's normally not a big task, but last night the temperatures were around 14°F. A doggie must, obviously, go outside at least a few times a day, so we bundled up and headed downstairs. It wasn't until we hit the ground floor, two flights of stairs behind us, I realized that I had managed to put on a hoodie, scarf, coat, and gloves. My lower half didn't fare so well. I was wearing a rather thin pair of pajama pants, yes...I wear my PJ pants outside, judge all you want. On top of this, I wasn't wearing any socks and my slippers didn't really stop the wind from nearly instantly freezing my feet. I may or may not be able to feel my little toe on my right foot right now. #dogwalkfail

This morning I walked outside to be slapped across the face by 11°F...I think I cried but my tears must have instantly froze, so I can't be sure.

My health woes haven't changed too much. I'm in a waiting game with my body until March 6th, one day before husbands birthday. I pray that his gift will be good news!

Okay, so my post title has a bit of meaning.
No, I'm not an actual prostitute...I just play one in church.
Yes, yours truly will be playing the one and only Mary Magdalene during Lent.
Should I be insulted? Do I look like a hooker? I hope not! I guess I'm one of the few of the appropriate age and willingness to rock out a 5 minute monologue. I wonder what my costume will look like, hmmm...

Stay warm!

The Calm Before Sandy

Before we get punched in the face by Sandy I thought I would share some pictures and fun times from last weekend.

Here in the Northeast people are majorly obsessed with dying tree leaves, aka 'Fall Foliage'. So, we locked poor Miss Sophie Jean in her crate and jumped in Raymond the RAV to see these leaves in all their glory.

The first colors of orange were less than impressive.
Oh wait, those are construction signs.
We looped by Giants Stadium (MetLife)

Then headed toward the G.W. Bridge area...

A little further North and we stopped at an awesome lookout point with pretty trees!
 And great views of NYC!
GWB with Manhattan in the distance
Mr. E checking out the views
 North of Manahttan
A little closer view of Manhattan
 Only 25 cents!
I think that these things are cool, not sure why.
Checkin out the view myself. Photo taken by Mr. E
One last look before heading on our way
 Driving on Palisades Interstate Parkway
Stopping at our 2nd lookout park
 Red/Orange trees
I have an affinity for old slightly rusty signs
The rocky cliffs on the Palisades!
Continuing on a little further North
We made it all the way to New York State!
And then it was too dark to take any more pictures.

Overall, the leaves are nice to look at and I will probably go again, but I hear that since the Summer was really warm the leaves were not up to their normal amount of amazing.

We are prepared for Sandy. Candles, flashlights, battery operated radio, and massive amounts of Ramen noodles have been purchased. Thanks for all the emails, facebook posts, text messages and prayers for our safety.

We have a land line that will be used to keep our family informed, if you need the number let me know. I think that we are in an area that will weather the storm well...just hope we keep all of our windows and our cars aren't damaged!

The Great Disappointment and Other Thoughts

Things have actually slowed down over the past couple of weeks.

We have mostly been working and running. I have to be prepared for the half marathon! So, we have been doing 3 runs a week of 3 to 4 miles and a long run on the weekend. 7 and 8 miles over he past two weeks. This weekend I'll do another long run and then take it easy in the last few days before the race. You ready for this DAD?!

Let's see - since I last wrote we have found a church! YAY! Maybe this isn't an important subject to some people, but we have been trying to find a church home for a number of months. Grace Episcopal Church in Rutherford, NJ is the place to be y'all!

Fun Fact - After we decided to visit this church we learned that my husband's Uncle Bob was married there! And he was the ring barrier! cray!

And now - for the Great Disappointment of 2012

After our first visit to Grace Church
my stomach was screaming for some biscuits and gravy, loudly. We opted to try the local IHOP to see if they could accomodate a rather Southern request. This is what I recieved...

I had to request more gravy three times before I could eat these tiny things. All in all it just made me miss Grandma's homemade version at least 300 times more than I was already. Fire up the skillet Grandma! I'll be there in 9 days!!!

We have also located a Cracker Barrel just a short 35 miles away should the craving for biscuits and gravy hit again ... or I feel the need to purchase mountains of candy and a candle.

Happy October!

Slow It Down Sister

Remember when I blogged regularly? Me either.

Here are some highlights.

August 26th and 27th

My lovely cousin and her husband made a quick trip to the Jersey/NYC area! We spent Saturday walking around the city, buying things we didn't need, and taking super short cab rides! Nothing beats quality time with Layna!

We got ourselves cleaned up to hit the town, which started with an AWESOME dinner at Good Restaurant. Seriously, they ain't kiddin with the name. I pretended to hang with the cool kids for the rest of the night. Major fun times!

Adorbs.

Two things that I learned...no matter how cute the new wedges look, do not wear them in NYC! And I'm not 22 anymore. Lordy, I was tired for days and my heel is just now healing.

August 28th

Brother's Birthday (subject of last post)

Timothy Gordon Perry, 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix, celebrated a milestone ... 200,000 miles! WHAT?! I'm so proud of him I could pee.

I was very excited! And thankful that this happened at a stoplight.

August 29th, 30th, and 31st

Crazy busy days at work, honestly I can't even remember what happened.

September 1st, 2nd, and 3rd

TU Played their first football game of the year, and lost. I was not a happy lady.

We made some major progress on our new apartment, seriously it's livable now! WHAT?!

Bought some cheapo furniture at WalMart for the office and nearly killed each other putting it together.

We had grand plans to make our own kitchen island/prep table. After computing the price of the wood we jumped in the car and headed to IKEA for the $99 alternative. It was a decision made 80% by money and 20% by laziness.

Word of advice, do not go to IKEA if you have recently spent $60 on crappy furniture at WalMart, you will become crazy angry.

September 4th

Work and Packing for my business trip to California

September 5th and 6th

I've always wondered what it would be like to have a driver. I believe that it would be an awkward situation. I was picked up by a car service for my flight out of JFK. The gentleman was perfectly nice, not a bad drive either, but he went on a 30 minute rant about how different races of people drive. Um, he wasn't totally wrong in his observations, but I don't know that this is a great convo to have with someone you literally just met.

Some fairly awesome looking Mountains during the flight.

I made it to the airport safely, but as I was getting ready to board the plane I learned that my precious Grandma Lou had been taken to the hospital. I only received minimal details before being locked in an aircraft with no WiFi for nearly 6 hours. Painful. When I finally landed I learned that she was doing MUCH better and she has since been released to go home. I love that lady more than words.

I had a quick work meeting during a late dinner and promptly crashed in my super comfortable King sized bed.

Not a bad view from my hotel room, right?

Due to the 3 hour time difference I had a minor panic attack around 6:00am. So, I got up and took my time getting ready. Meetings at 9:30am and 11:00am and we were done! Yes, my flight time was longer than my meeting time. Insanity.

To kill time before our flight we drove around the LA area. I'm not going to pass total judgement on the section of the US, but I think I'll stick to the Midwest and East Coast.

This is famous isn't it? I took this from the car.
While I was waiting at the airport I couldn't get a hold of my husband, one freak out later we got in contact just has he locked himself out of the apartment...with our dog...without a shirt. He went into full MacGyver mode and somehow got back in, I boarded the plane next to the loudest mouth breather to ever walk planet earth, and I was back in Queens 50 minutes ahead of schedule.

September 7th

I arrived at JFK early and the car service was late. Neato. Since it was rush hour we took the long way...the outside edge of Brooklyn. Just 2 short hours later I was home and so tired I couldn't see straight.

After my awesome nap and shower I began packing for our trip DTS (down the shore!). Kenny took a 1/2 day at work so we could get out of town before everyone else. We packed, loaded up the car, and headed to Petsmart to drop Miss Sophie Jean off a the hotel, she was less than thrilled.

As I walked out of Petsmart the Monte Carlo's engine shut off...and wouldn't start again. We tried a number of things but it was obviously not going to be a quick fix. AAA to the rescue! The car was towed back to our block and we loaded everything into Gordy (1999 Grand Prix) for the drive down.

A wrong turn, a pit stop, and an encounter with the Ocean City PD later - we had arrived!

September 8th and 9th

We spent all day Saturday lounging around, but we weren't able to spend much time on the beach due to the extreme wind! It felt a sand storm. It was a great couple of days just relaxing, walking, playing skee ball, etc. Sunday included a yummy breakfast and shopping on the boardwalk! I highly recomend Ocean City for some good clean family fun! Thanks to the In Law Family for fun times!

TU managed a win on Saturday too, GO TU!

For some reason this is the only picture I took with my phone - more to come later!

As we neared home I realized that the small bumps on my forehead were probably more than a breakout. *drumroll* Poison SOMETHING! still not sure if it's Ivy, Oak, or that one that starts with an S that I always mispronounce. It's itchy and that's all I know.

September 10th

And now...a moment of silence for our fallen friend...2002 Monte Carlo - aka The Count...

I swear he looked better in person, photos aren't the husbands strong suit.

I received a call around 1:00pm, while I was on my way to Urgent Care because the above mentioned Poison Something was spreading, to confirm my worst fears. The car was beyond repair.

We had some options - drop a new engine in for around $4,000, but the Transmission doesn't look too hot and it would need work fairly soon. We could buy a salvaged motor and hope for the best, but that just sounds like a bunch of problems.

So, we opted to bite the bullet and get a new ride. Not exactly how I planned to spend my Monday evening. We picked something reasonable and affordable, with growth possibilities and resale value...

Allow me to introduce you Raymond Alan Vaughn - our NEW (slightly used) 2010 RAV 4!

Isn't he cute?

He weighs in at a light 8,000 miles with a tiny 4 banger. As a girl that has ALWAYS owned GM and they have ALWAYS been a 6 of some sort...this was a bit of a change for me. I am happy to say that he is doing quite well and fitting in nicely.

September 11th

The Beta Epislon Chapter of Kappa Delta turned 75 years old! Amazing! I'm proud to be the 1,029th member of such a wonderful local sisterhood. Nationwide, heck ... Worldwide!... the ladies of KD do great and wonderful things. AOT!

from thishouseishome.net - many great memories inside those walls!

It's amazing to me how this day, like April 19th, always puts things into perspective. Life can change in an instant.

We went for a run in Liberty State Park around 8:00pm. There were a number of people there walking, running, taking photos, or just taking in the views. It was nice. The view going south was lit by Lady Liberty and the return run was illuminated by the glow of two bight blue lights. This picture does it zero justice.

You can barley see the lights, but they were oh so bright.

September 12th and 13th

Things seem to be slowing down a bit for us. *knock on wood* We have a somewhat lazy weekend planned and I can't wait!!
